EXPERIENCE

Zach is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience providing psychotherapy services to adults, adolescents, and families in the Washington metropolitan area.

Before founding In Focus, Zach was an associate clinician at Gavin Behrens and Associates. Prior to that, he spent 10 years working as a Middle School counselor at McLean School in Potomac, MD, where he worked closely with parents, educators, school administrators, educational consultants, mental health professionals, and social service providers in supporting adolescents and families via counseling. In addition to psychotherapy, Zach offers parent education, as well as guidance with educational supports. He works with clients of all ages 9 and up.

Meaghan Auchincloss, LCSW-C

EXPERIENCE
 

Meaghan is a licensed clinical social worker in Maryland with 10 years of experience in providing individual, group, and family therapy to children, teens, and adults in school-based, outpatient, and telehealth settings. She uses a strength-based, person-centered approach to foster trusting therapeutic relationships in which she explores your needs with acceptance and understanding.

Meaghan is a Certified Trauma and Resilience Specialist (CTRS-C) and holds a certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She believes there is no “one size fits all” approach to therapy, meaning that her goal is to determine what will be most supportive and effective for you as an individual. Together you will create a space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment and develop the skills needed to live the life that you envision.
